Chief Executive Officer Emeritus

Danny Johnson serves as Chief Executive Officer Emeritus of the Danny Kendall Johnson Foundation, providing strategic leadership and guidance in support of the organization’s mission. Throughout his career, he has served as an Ombudsman in the Mayor’s Office for the City of Birmingham, Alabama, and as a lead logistics planner for select classified programs within the United States Department of Defense. For more than 25 years, he has coached and mentored student-athletes throughout the Birmingham and Huntsville City School systems.

A graduate of Miles College with a degree in Political Science and the School of Engineering and Logistics in Texarkana, Texas, Johnson is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and continues his commitment to public service, mentorship, and community leadership while pursuing an Executive Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Government.
